R&D: AlgaeCom Project
AlgaeCom is an EU Framework Programme 7 Industry-Academia Partnerships and Pathways (IAPP) project. Project number 286354.
The AlgaeCom project seeks to exploit the convergence of science, technology, and biotechnological tools for the creation of new knowledge and innovative applications. The main objective is the characterization, and exploitation of the microalgae biodiversity, as a source for state-of-the-art high-added-value bioactive ingredients for cosmeceuticals. This project combines both basic and applied research in the fields of –omics technologies, biochemistry and applied biotechnology.
